These faucets operate smoothly and easily, BUTThey are so slender that they barely cover the mounting hole in our sink. The length of the connection stub is so short that it didn't provide enough length to attach the supply line with the thick plastic nut and washer provided on our porcelain sink. I had to find a thin nut to expose enough threads to attach the supply line. The faucet's base's animal 1" diameter is so much smaller than the mounting hole in the sink that I had to fabricate a centering collar. The plastic mounting washer draws into the mounting hole, so I had to find a metal washer to clamp the faucet securely to the sink.Lastly, there is no aerator, just a grill over the end of the faucet, meaning at full open the water sprays uncontrollability at a shallow angle, instead of delivering downward controlled stream. One niggling detail: both faucets have a blank blue plastic cap in the handles. Since they are described as "Hot and Cold" I expected them to some indication of hot versus cold, such a a symbol or letter or, perhaps, one blue and one red cap.I suppose the mounting issues do not apply to thin metal sinks with one inch mounting holes.
